The Club has two all-weather floodlit tennis courts which are covered by an inflatable dome from September to May, allowing all year round tennis.

Tennis players have a wide range of competition available to them.  Internal club leagues for singles and doubles, a main club championship that culminates in finals in the spring, a handicap event for the off-season. Also there are a variety of one day (or half-day) American style tournaments.

Team Tennis

With four Ladies, three mixed and soon a men's team in the Colchester Leagues, plus Veteran teams in the Essex League, many grasp the opportunity to play at a high level.
